Florida State Defensive Back Jalen Ramsey Named AFCA All-American

Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey was named to another All-American team.

Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey was named an American Football Coaches Association first-team All-American for his performance during the 2015 season. Ramsey finished the year with 43 tackles, 10 pass break ups, 2 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery for a touchdown. 

This is the second major All-American team that Ramsey was named a first team All-American along with Walter Camp. He falls just one short of being named a consensus All-American.

According to Seminoles.com, Ramsey becomes the 32nd Florida State player to win the award. This is also the sixth straight year a Florida State player has been named a first team AFCA All-American.
