Florida State is 12th In Athletic Department Revenue

Florida State leads the ACC in Athletic Department revenue in 2014-2015.

According to a CBS Sports report, the Florida State Athletic Department reported a revenue of $121.3 million for the 2014-2015 fiscal year. The number is good enough for 12th in the country along with Notre Dame, and first in the ACC. The only other ACC school to report a revenue of over $100 million was Louisville at 104.3.

There are currently 28 schools that reported a revenue over $100 million, and 18 come from either the B1G or the SEC. Texas, Ohio State, and Alabama lead the way with revenues over $150 million. In state rival Florida comes in at No. 7 on the list at $130.8 million.

The ACC continues to fall behind other schools in reported revenue. As a conference they currently average $83.3 million. That's well behind the SEC at $110.3 million, the B1G at $103.3 million, and the BIG 12 at $99 million. They also trail the Pac 12 at $85.6 million.
