Florida State guard Dwayne Bacon has won ACC Rookie of the Week for the second time this year. Bacon averaged 21.5 points in wins over Mississippi State and Florida Atlantic.

Bacon averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals in leading Florida State to a victory over Mississippi State and a come-from-behind win over FAU in the Orange Bowl Classic. He shot .593 from the field (16-for-27) and .733 (11-for-15) from the foul line for the Seminoles (8-2). The Lakeland, Florida, freshman scored 20 points against Mississippi State and 23 against FAU. Bacon, who was named the MVP of Orange Bowl Classic, enters Monday’s game against Charleston Southern averaging 16.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and shooting .520 from the field. He has scored at least 20 points in five of the first 10 games of his career.
