1. 4-star LB Dontavious Jackson
The Seminoles have a desperate need at linebacker going forward, and landing Jackson would go a long way towards filling that need. The 6-foot-2, 237-pound middle linebacker has great instincts, and is extremely physical at the point of attack. He sheds blocks well, and is a sure tackler. Florida State is losing at least two linebackers before next season, and all but two of the returning linebackers have question marks. Landing Jackson would be a huge boost to that position.
2. 4-star DE Brian Burns
Burns is a solid weak side defensive end that would fit very well into Florida State's system. Burns is very long and athletic. He is very quick off the ball with a first step that rivals any other defensive end this year. He will need time to develop his technique and strength, but defensive ends coach Brad Lawing would love to have Burns ability to play with in the coming seasons.
3. 4-star DE Terrell Hall
Hall is also very quick off the ball, and he has the size to come in and contribute immediately. He plays with great leverage, but also has the ability to speed rush off the edge. Florida State needs at least one more defensive end in the class, and Hall would definitely be a welcome addition.
4. 4-star CB Trayvon Mullen
Mullen is one of the top cornerbacks in the entire country. He has elite size and length for a corner at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. He has very good instincts, and his ability to flip his hips make him one of the top cornerback prospects in the entire country. Florida State already has two cornerbacks committed in this class, but Mullen has the special type of ability that every coach wants to have on the roster.
5. 4-star LB Keion Joyner
Linebacker is a position of need for Florida State, and Keion Joyner has the ability to be a special one. He's got great instincts and is a terrific athlete. He has a high motor, and is a very good pass rusher. He's able to play the run well, and is very good in coverage. He's the type of linebacker that Florida State is looking for to play in their system.
