Florida State Falls To Clemson 84-75

Florida State opened up ACC play with a loss to Clemson.

Florida State falls to Clemson 84-75 in an ugly showing by the Seminoles to start ACC play. The Seminoles struggled to close out on defense and allowed Clemson to shoot uncontested 3-pointers all gmae long. The Tigers finshed the game 10-26 from deep, but Jordan Roper was 7 for 10 on the game from three.

Malik Beasley and Devon Bookert attempted to carry the Seminoles, but it just wasn't enough. Beasley led the Seminoles with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Bookert added 21 including 6-8 from deep. Beasley has now scored double digits in all 13 games this season.

Dwayne Bacon and Xavier Rathan-Mayes struggled shooting. The two combined for 16 points on 7of 25 from the field. 

The Seminoles struggled rebounding once again with Clemson holding a 42-31 advantage including 15 offensive rebounds. 

Florida State falls to 10-3 on the season, and 0-1 in the ACC.
