Fredricksburg (Va.) Stafford Senior 4-star offensive tackle Josh Ball has been a solid commitment to Florida State since he made his decision in June. Ball had double digit Power-5 offers before committing to the Seminoles.
He took his official visit to Florida State this weekend, and came away extremely impressed once again.
"It was amazing," Ball said. "I had a great time."
Ball's favorite part of the visit was spending time with offensive line coach Rick Trickett and head coach Jimbo Fisher.
"Quality time with coach Fisher and Trickett," Ball said. "Getting to know them way better."
Fisher and Trickett both had the same message for Ball.
"They told me that this Seminole football team is going to do big things in the next couple years," Ball said.
Coach Trickett made Ball a priority during his recruitment, and it's easy to see why.
"He loves how quick my feet are, how physical I am and I don't stop running my feet," Ball said. "And most important, he loves my finish."
Ball brought both of his parents on his visit, and they enjoyed it just as much as he did.
"They had a blast!" Ball said.
His visit to Florida State reaffirmed his commitment to the Seminoles, and he's 100 percent in his commitment.
"I'm 100% a Seminole," Ball said.
Despite being all Florida State, Ball may still take one more visit to hometown Virginia. He isn't sure if that visit will happen yet, but if he does take that visit it will be because of the new coaching staff.
"The new coaches," Ball said. "That's about it."
Ball is the No. 24 offensive tackle and the No. 289 player overall in the 2016 Scout 300.
