FSU Runs To 91-71 Win Over Wake Forest

Florida State won their fourth straight ACC game at Wake on Saturday.

Florida State used a series of runs on their way to a double digit win over Wake Forest. The Seminoles defeated the Demon Deacons 91-71 and are now over .500 in ACC play for the first time this season. 

Malik Beasley led the Seminoles in scoring once again with 16, but he was one of five Florida State players in double figures. Every starter for the Seminoles finished in double figures. Montay Brandon also had 13 points to go along with 6 rebounds. Boris Bojanovsky added 11 points and 7 rebounds while Xavier Rathan-Mayes added 13 points. Dwayne Bacon added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Devin Bookert and Benji Bell came up just one point short of double digits with 9 each.

The Seminoles shot 50 percent from the field for the game, and 41.7 percent from the three point line. They outrebounded the Demon Deacons 37-30.

Florida State is now 16-7 overall and 6-5 in the ACC. Florida State has now won 4 straight ACC games. The Seminoles will travel to Syracuse on Thursday, February 11th. The game will start at 7 PM and will be broadcast on ESPN.
