2018 RB Dameon Pierce Sees Himself Fitting In At FSU

2018 running back Dameon Pierce visited Florida State again for the Seminoles Jr. Day. Find out how it went here.

Bainbridge (Ga.) 2018 running back Dameon Pierce is one of the top players in the 2018 class, and his recruitment has started to pick up. Florida State and Auburn have offered and Pierce took another visit to check out the Seminoles on Saturday.

"It was a great experience," Pierce said. "I got to see the facility and meet all the coaches, and get a little more aquanted with the program."

Pierce had visited Florida State for a couple games, but this setting was different.

"The hospitatlity," Pierce said. "It was a family atmosphere and I was well greeted by the coaches and the staff."

Pierce spent a lot of time with defensive coordinator Charles Kelly, who recruits his area, and running backs coach Jay Graham.

"Coach Graham especially," Pierce said. "Got to see the scheme, the pro offense style. He said I could fit in the scheme very and I agree with him. Hopefully I'll be down here for more visits."

Pierce believes he could see himself fitting into the program.

"I could see myself fitting into the program very well," Pierce said. "Hopefully I'll be down here for another visit soon."

Pierce really likes the pro style scheme that Florida State runs.

"Just the way they run the offense," Pierce said. "It's explosive, but it's a traditional offense. It's not too flashy. Great running backs are produced by this program and using that scheme."

Pierce got to meet star Florida State running back Dalvin Cook during his trip.

"I met with him, but I didn't talk his head off," Pierce said. "I took a picture with him and hung out with him.

Pierce measured in at 5-foot-9.5, 208-pounds during his visit.

He does not have any other visits currently planned.
