Florida State advances to day two of the ACC Tournament after defeating Boston College.

The Seminoles shot 58.6 percent from the field and 56.3 percent from the three point line, but just 52.4 percent from the free throw line. The Florida State defense held the Eagles to just 44.7 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from the three point line.

Florida State out rebounded Boston College 32-28 and pulled down 9 offensive rebounds.

Florida State advances to take on 6 seed Virginia Tech after the win. The game is slated to start at 9 PM. The Hokies defeated the Seminoles 83-73 during their regular season meeting in Blacksburg.
