FSU Practice Report With Sights And Sounds

Florida State got a key starter back to practice on Wednesday, and one defender was cross training.

Florida State practiced in pads on Wednesday.

Jacob Pugh was not dressed out. He had his right foot in a boot. Bobo Wilson was not dressed out. Sean Maguire was without a boot for the first time this spring. Ermon Lane was dressed out, but not participating. Ja'Vonn Harrison was not at practice. He suffered a turf toe injury on Saturday. Lorenzo Featherston was not at practice.

Demarcus Walker returned to practice.

Marcus Lewis was participating, but had a non-contact jersey with him.

Derwin James was working with the defensive ends during drills. Lawing was working with him specifically on his pass rushing moves. He took extra time to explain things to him.

Nyqwan Murray and Travis Rudolph were the first team kick off returners today. Kermit Whitfield and Marquez White were second team.

The offensive line remained the same as normal. 

Former Florida State defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews was in attendance.

2018 Florida State running back Charles Strong was taking in a practice with his mother and brother.

2016 4-star wide receiver signee Keith Gavin was also taking in practice.

The Falcons had a scout at practice. He is a former Florida State graduate.
