Dwayne Bacon Returning To FSU

Florida State basketball got some big news from their top scorer from last season.

Dwayne Bacon announced via Twitter that he will be returning to Florida State for his sophomore season. Bacon had originally stated that he was going to put his name in for the NBA Draft, but has now changed his mind.

He issued this statement via Twitter:

"After further discussion with my family and looking at my time at Florida State I have decided to stay in school. I am excited about spending another year with my teammates and help us reach our goal of making the NCAA Tournament. I want to thank the coaching staff at FSU for guiding my family and I during this process. Playing in front of FSU fans is a dream come true and I look forward to maturing and becoming a better player this spring and summer!"

Bacon led Florida State in scoring 15.8 points per game and in rebounding with 5.8 rebounds per game as a freshman last season.
