Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern 4-star quarterback Bailey Hockman has committed to Florida State. Hockman has visited Florida State twice in the past two months, and was the first quarterback that the Seminoles offered for the 2017 class. He chose the Seminoles over Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
Hockman tweeted out this message.
"First off I would like to thank all the coaches that have recruited me. Also my parents, my coaches, and everyone who has contributed to me as a student-athlete. Most of all I would like to thank God. Through the long and great recruiting process, I'm excited to say that I have committed to Florida State University, this school I love and will attend to further my career as a student athlete. God bless and Go Noles!!!"
Hockman is rated as the No. 15 quarterback and No. 192 player overall in the 2017 Scout 300. He becomes the eighth commitment in the 2017 class, and the seventh in the Top-300.
