FSU Lands JUCO Guard Braian Angola-Rodas

Florida State has landed a JUCO point guard for the third straight year.

Florida State picked up a commitment from North Idaho College guard Braian Angola-Rodas. He committed to Florida State over Utah, Oregon, Houston, and Washington.

Angola-Rodas averaged 21.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game last season. He was also 10th in the NJCAA in steals with 86. 

He announced his commitment via Twitter.


Angola-Rodas is the fifth commitment for the 2016 class. He joins 5-star forward Jonathan Isaac, 4-star guard Trent Forrest, 4-star guard CJ Walker, and forward Mfiondu Kabengele in the class.
