FSU Falls To USC In Beach Volleyball National Championship

Florida State fell just short of taking home the inaugural beach volleyball NCAA National Championship.

Florida State dropped the first three matches of the NCAA beach volley ball national championship showdown with USC. The Seminoles fell just short of winning the inaugural NCAA national championship.

Only one of the first three pairs for the Seminoles were able to take a set and force a third set, but the Trojans dominated the day. Southern California also won last years AVCA National Championship.

Florida State will finish the season 32-3 with two of their losses coming to Southern California in the championship tournament. The future looks bright for the Seminoles with only five seniors on the roster.
