Trifecta Tops Forbes' List

One player that has slipped under the radar screen so far this recruiting season is Miami (Fla.) Norland defensive back Chris Forbes. Not only is Forbes a very good defensive player, he will also line up at wide receiver and running back as well. He is a multi-talented prospect who has drawn a lot of attention from college coaches. The 6-foot-0 and 190 pound safety has drawn the most attention from LSU, Ohio State and FSU. These three schools have been sending him letters since the end of spring practice. So what does Forbes think about his top three schools?

"Florida State is Florida State," the South Florida defender said. "They are a great program and Coach Haggins has been sending me a lot of letters in the mail. LSU has two of my former teammates and I like them a lot as well. Ohio State is right up there and has also shown a lot of interest in me."

With the opportunity to play on both offense and defense this year, Forbes will get the chance to shine. His ability to make the big play for Norland this year is what he hopes helps get Norland back to the State Championship.

"We play a tough schedule and lost a lot of talent from last years team but our goal is the same and that is to win it all again this year," Forbes said.

With offers from FSU, LSU, Ohio State and many other top programs in college football, Forbes is looking to take his time before making a decision where to go to school.

"I want to take my visits and go to a school that is most comfortable to me," he said.
