Earlier this month flooding in West Virginia took the lives of 23 people and destroyed more than 1,200 homes. It also did a lot of damage to many schools. Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher, a native of West Virginia, has called upon the high school football coaches in the state of Florida to make sure that those schools will be able to play football this season.
Fisher wrote this letter to the high school coaches requesting any uniform items that they can spare to send.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban, also a native of West Virginia, has asked coaches in Alabama to do the same.
