Florida State has picked up a commitment from 2017 4-star running back Khalan Laborn. Laborn held over 20 offers including Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, but was down to Florida State and Virginia Tech before committing to the Seminoles.
Laborn announced his commitment by riding up in a Lamborghini with spear magnets on the side. He then ran through the field with a Florida State flag.
Laborn had an incredible junior season rushing for 2,228 yards while averaging 10.8 yards per carry. He scored 32 touchdowns during the season.
He visited Florida State in February during a Junior Day event, and also came to Orlando for the Seminoles spring game. He also visited Tallahassee during a Jimbo Fisher camp in 2015. He is former teammates with 2016 5-star Levonta Taylor.
The 5-foot-10, 200-pound Laborn is rated as the No. 6 running back and No. 48 overall prospect in the 2017 Scout 300. He becomes the 11 commitment in the 2017 class for the Seminoles, and the ninth in the Scout 300.
