Florida State practiced in shells for the first time during fall camp on Thursday.

Practice Report

QB Sean Maguire was taking first team reps once again. Deondre Francois was with the second team.

Brock Ruble (Right Tackle) and Wilson Bell (Right Guard) were back with the first team offensive line unit.

The first team wide receivers were Travis Rudolph, Bobo Wilson, and Kermit Whitfield. 

Derwin James was taking part in some drills with a trainer. He was not in shells due to the acclimation period required by the NCAA.

Logan Tyler and Ricky Aguayo were both taking part in the kicking duties.

Offensive line coach Rick Trickett was not happy with his center's snaps today, and he let them know it. 

Landon Dickerson continues to work with the second team at left guard.

Derrick Kelly continues to work with the third team offensive line unit. 


A scout from the Dolphins was at practice.

Post Practice Injury Report

DT Demarcus Christmas exited practice on a cart. He was helped to the cart by trainers. Jimbo Fisher did not know what the injury was.

WR Da'Vante Phillips had a large knee brace on his left knee and was on crutches. Fisher said he had a bone bruise on his knee, and hurt some ligaments. He did not state a timetable for his return.
