Cali DB List Noles High

Two years ago Florida State signed the number-one ranked running back in the country in Lorenzo Booker. Last year, the Noles just missed out on signing his friend and teammate Whitney Lewis. This year the Seminoles are hot after another top-notch athlete from Ventura (CA) St. Bonaventura named Terrail Lambert.

"I just talked with Coach John Lilly on the phone," Lambert, who already has one interception and three pass break ups in two games, said. "I was in the process of setting up a visit with Florida State. They will be the first school that I'll visit. I'm going for the Miami game."

Where do the Noles stack up against the competition for the future defensive back?

"Florida State, Notre Dame and Southern Cal are my top three," Lambert, who is an four-star athlete, said. "I'm also considering Ohio State and Oklahoma. I've been offered by all of my favorites except Oklahoma. They have called me a few times this fall though."

Florida State's star running back Lorenzo Booker is more than his former teammate he's Lambert's cousin. How will that factor into the equation?

"Lorenzo and I talk along with Whitney," he said. "He just told me to go where I feel the most comfortable. That's what he did. A few years ago he was calling out plays from the Sugar Bowl that Florida State played in.. Florida State is where he always wanted to go. My childhood favorite team was Michigan but they aren't recruiting me."

Lambert, who excels in the classroom by carrying a 3.1 grade point average and a SAT of score of 880, knows what he's looking for in a school.

"Location will play no factor for me," he said. "I want find a place that I can excel academically. Football is secondary for me and I need something to fall back on."

Look or the Lambert to take all of his visits before making a decision.
