South Florida DB Likes Four Schools

Since last spring Florida State has had its eyes on one of the most underrated defensive backs in the country. Anthony Reddick, a 6-foot-1 and 190 pound safety/corner from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St.Thomas Aquinas is now starting getting the attention of some big-time programs, including Florida State, Miami and Georgia.

"My favorite schools right now are Miami, Georgia, Ohio State and Florida State," Reddick, who intercepted four passes as a junior, said. "They are all even now. My visits will determine where I go."

The three-star prospect has been getting weekly phone calls from his favorites.

"I talk with Coach Shannon (Miami), Coach Lilly (Florida State) and Coach Martinez (Georgia) each week," Reddick said. "We don't discuss lot things like depth charts. They all talk to me like a friend."

In addition to a busy academic and high school football schedule, Reddick has found time on Saturdays to study some college programs by taking unofficial visits.

"I have gone to all of the Miami home games because it's close to home," he said. "This week I'm heading up to Georgia. I also plan on visiting Florida State for the Miami game."

Where does the St. Thomas Aquinas student/athlete project in college?

"Right now in high school, I'm a 6-foot-1 and 190 pound corner," he said. "Miami hasn't made up their mind on where they like me. Georgia likes me as a Rover and most of the other programs are recruiting me as a strong safety."

So far this year in three games, Reddick has returned one interception for a 35-yard score and he has punt return of 45 yards.
