Versatile Peach State Ath List Noles
"Right now I have offers from Oklahoma, Clemson, Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, Michigan State and North Carolina," Brown, who rushed for over a 1,000 yards as a junior said.
"My favorite schools are Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Oklahoma and Auburn," he said. "The main three are Oklahoma, Florida and Auburn."
Brown grew up a fan of Florida State and Oklahoma, but he hasn't had a phone call yet from the Seminole coaches.
"I use to tell my old coach (Michael Tanks), who use to play for Florida State, that I wanted to play at Florida State. They do send letters but I have never heard from them on the phone."
Brown told The Territory that the Noles could be in the thick of things with an offer.
Through the first four games of the season, Brown has rushed for 548 yards on 52 carries on offense. He has also recorded four pass breakups and one interception while playing cornerback on defense.
Where does this versatile athlete project in college?
"I would like to play running back in college if I had the choice," Brown said. "I'm open to playing receiver or defensive back for certain schools. Oklahoma and Georgia are recruiting me to play defensive back. Auburn wants me as a running back."
Brown compares his style of play to former Seminole running back Travis Minor.
"I'm a tall guy that can break a lot of tackles," he said. "I have 4.3 speed and I'm faster than quick."
