Darby has helped lead his team to a perfect start of 5-0 on the season by catching nine passes for 135 yards and one touchdown. Last year as a junior, he hauled in 20 passes for 450 yards and nine touchdowns.

What schools is The No. 7 ranked tight end currently considering?

"I have an official visit set up with Iowa on the 24th," Darby, who caught two, passes for 23 yards this past week, said. "I'm also going to take official visits to the three Florida schools and Michigan. I don't know when though."

Like many top prospects from the state of Florida and the Southeast, Darby will also take in the Florida State/Miami showdown on Saturday at high noon.

"We play on Friday night at Bradenton Manatee and my mom and I will drive up after the game," he said. "I'm undecided on who is going to win the game."

Darby is on track to qualify academically with a 2.6 grade point average and a 950 SAT score.

Who does he compare style with?

"My style compares a little with Jeremy Shockey," he said. "I always get mismatches with linebackers."
