State's Top LB Will Be In Doak

Linebacker Willie Williams, who is from Miami Carol City, is arguably the top linebacker in the state of Florida. This weekend, the athletic 6-foot-3 and 225 pound tackling machine, will make the drive up to Tallahassee to see his two favorite teams play. Recently, The Territory.org caught up with to discuss the big game.

"I'm going to head up there with my cousin Friday night," Williams said. "I'm ready to see two great teams play and I'll be studying their defensive schemes."

Will he make contact with his friend Florida State freshman defensive tackle Clifton Dickson over the weekend?

"I'll probably hang out some with Clifton," he said. "We're staying for the weekend. I'm hearing from Clifton that the coaches want me and need me real bad."

Will Williams be rooting for the Canes or the Noles?

"Miami and Florida State are two competitive and well coached teams," he said. "I think I'll go back and fourth between the two teams."

The South Florida native was off to a good start last week before tweaking his ankle.

"I had four tackles in four minutes before leaving the game," he said.
