FSU - Miami Prospect Photo Gallery

This past weekend several of the nation's top prospects were in Tallahassee to watch Florida State take on the Miami Hurricanes in their annual showdown. The Territory.org caught up with several prospects at the big game and took their pictures.




 Jae Thaxton, a 6-foot-2 and 220 pound middle linebacker, is considered one the best defensive players in the Southeast. The Hart County senior has recorded an impressive 86 tackles and two sacks through five games this season. Florida State and Georgia are considered the top two teams to beat for his services.
 Xavier Lee, the two-time Sunshine Sports Network Player of the Year, is considered one the nation's finest quarterbacks. This past weekend, the 6-foot-3 and 210 pound quarterback, became the all-time leading passer in the state as he threw for 168 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 37-28 loss to Live Oak Suwannee. He also took over as the all-time completions leader as well. The Daytona Beach Seabreeze Senior made his second unofficial visit to Doak Campbell stadium this past Saturday. According to several good sources, the Noles are considered the top team on his list.
Vince Wilson, a running back from Daytona Beach Mainland, is the cousin of former Florida State All-American Reinard Wilson. Last year as a junior, the 5-foot-8 and 180 pounder with 4.3 40 speed rushed for over 1,300 yards. The Noles are his favorite team.
 Kenny Ingram, a wide receiver/safety prospect from Orlando Edgewater, is considered one of the top athletes in the state. The 6-foot-4 and 195 pounder with 4.6 speed is considered a heavy lean to the Miami Hurricanes.
 Brandon Lang, a speed rusher from Tucker (GA), recorded 16 sacks as a junior. The 6-foot-4 and 220 pounder favors Georgia followed by the Noles.
 Aaron Jones, a 6-foot-3 and 272 pound defensive defender from Orlando Edgewater, is considered the top defensive tackle prospect from Florida. Last year as a junior, he recorded 69 tackles, 11 sacks and 15 tackles for a loss. His top teams on his list are Florida State and Miami.
 Tony Joiner is an explosive safety prospect from Haines City (Fla.) The 6-foot and 175 ponder favor the Noles but he's still waiting for an offer.
  Thomas Brown, a four-star running back prospect from Tucker (GA), is committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. However, the 5-foot-10 and 185 pound speedster is still looking at the Noles. Last year as a junior, he rushed 1,700 yards and 30 touchdowns.
 Mike Hamilton, a bruising running back from Melbourne (Fla.) is one of the most underrated players in the state. A few weeks back, he rushed for 300 yards in a game. Right now, he's open to all schools on his list, including Florida State and Miami.
 Johnnie Williams, a fullback/linebacker is also considered one of the most underrated players in the state. The 5-foot-8 and 195 pounder is being overlooked by a lot of programs because of his height. Florida State is his favorite team growing up. There's a good chance that he might walk-on.
Kyle Jackson, a safety prospect from Jacksonville Fletcher, is one of the top players in the state period. According to several good sources, the Fletcher standout is leaning to his childhood favorite Florida.
 Tony Cater, a 5-foot-10 and 160 pound cornerback, is considered on one best in the country at his position. The Jacksonville Mandarin standout is close to committing to his childhood favorite Florida State. He has been selected to pay in the Army All-American All-Star game which will be played in January.
