Noles In The Top Three For MS LB
"Florida State offered me a couple of weeks ago," Pack, who is on track to qualify academically with a 3.32 grade point average and a 17 ACT test score, said. "I was at home sick from school when Mickey Andrews (Florida State's defensive coordinator) called. I told him I was sick and he told me that he had something that was going to make me feel better. He told me that Florida State was offering me a full scholarship."
After hearing that news, did it cheer up the Mississippi native?
"Yes, it did," Pack, in an excited voice, said. "Florida State was my favorite team growing up. I've been watching them play for a long time."
Even with an offer from his favorite team, Pack wasn't ready to call the Noles his leader.
"I don't have a favorite," he said. "I'm open but my top three are FSU, Ole Miss and Tennessee. I like the coaches and Ole Miss and Tennessee has a big-time football program."
Pack has his first official visit set to Tennessee on December 12th.
Through eight games, Pack has recorded 91 tackles and four sacks on defense. On offense he rushed for 928 yards and 18 touchdowns.
