Five-Star Ath Is Playing It Cool

Brandon Miller, The No 3 ranked linebacker in the country, returned to the starting lineup three weeks ago after missing several games due to a calf injury. Recently, The caught up with the five-star prospect from Colquitt (GA) Miller Country to talk football and recruiting.

"I got back on the field about three weeks ago," the 6-foot-4 and 220 pound athlete said. "Since my return, we are 2-1. Last week I scored two touchdowns and had an interception. I also had a couple of tackles for a loss."

Miller plays all over the field. So far this season he has played running back, wide receiver, linebacker and defensive end. With his frame and speed, he most likely projects at defensive end in college.

"I'll play anywhere but most schools are recruiting me for defense." Miller said. "I really like Coach Galloway (Georgia) and Allen (Florida State). Coach Calloway told me I can play anywhere. Coach Allen likes me at defensive end but he also told me I can play anywhere."

So far this year Miller has visited Georgia unofficially once and Florida State unofficially several times. What's up for him next?

"I'm going to go to the Georgia/Auburn game soon," he said. "Tennessee wants me to come visit for a game also."

Miller told The Territory that he will most likely visit Auburn, Georgia and Florida State officially but no dates have been said yet.

What does he like about those three schools?

"I like Auburn's running style," he said. "I like Georgia's defense and they seem to be passing the ball well also. Florida State has a very good defense."
