WACO DB Sets Up His FSU Visit

Marcus Walker, The Insiders.com No 5 rated cornerback in the country, has rearranged his schedule around due to his team (Waco, TX) being knocked out of the playoffs for the first time in many years. Where will he visit first?

"Things aren't going so well now," he said. "We got knocked out of the playoffs and this Friday will be our last game of the season. I'm going to start taking my visits. I'm going to take my first one to Florida State in two weeks when they play NC State. Florida State called yesterday and I'm going to call tomorrow to let them know I'm coming."

Walker, who is on track to fully qualify, will visit LSU (12/5), Oklahoma (12/12), Texas A&M (1/16), and Arkansas (1/23). Does he have a favorite?

"I'm open to all teams now," Walker, who has only had one ball completed on him all season, said. "That's why I need to take all of my visits first to find out what I like."

What does he like about the Noles?

"Florida State has been my favorite team since I was a little kid," he said. "They have a great tradition of putting defensive players into the NFL. Deon Sanders was my favorite player growing up. Coach Mickey Andrews is a very good defensive back coach."
