First Coast Standout Takes In Gators/Noles

Mike McIntosh, a 6-foot-1 and 180 pound wide receiver with 4.4 40 speed, is one of the top athlete's in the Southeast. The First Coast high school senior has been quite busy lately and things don't seem to be slowing down for him anytime soon. He will be entertaining several coaches in his home this week and all-First coast standout took in the Florida/Florida State game on Saturday afternoon.

"Auburn was in tonight," McIntosh said. "We basically talked recruiting and about my situation. It was a very good visit. Florida State is coming in tomorrow night and Florida on Tuesday. On the Florida visit I had a good time. It was a good game. I got a chance to talk with Xavier Lee, Tony Carter and Kyle Jackson. I sat next to Tony Cater at the game."

McIntosh, who will visit Florida State on (1/23), is open to all teams on his list. However, he wouldn't mind playing with a young quarterback like Florida State commitment Drew Weatherford.

"Drew Weatherford called me last night," he said "He told me to go ahead and make my move. Drew and I will play together in the Cal/Florida All-Star game and we are planning on setting up our official visit to Florida State together. I first met Dew over the summer at the Florida football camp. He was the only quarterback that I wanted to throw to me there."

McIntosh also mentioned young quarterbacks at several programs, including Florida (Chris Leak), LSU (JaMarcus Russell), and Clemson (Charlie Whitehurst).

The First Coast wide receiver will take all of his official visits before making a decision.
