Noles Visit Orlando Safety

Safety prospect Kenny Ingram of Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater is being heavily recruited by Miami and Florida State. This past week, he had in-home visits from both coaching staffs respectively. This Saturday night at Florida field, Ingram and his teammates will play for the state class 6A championship.

"Miami and Florida State both told me that there will be playing time if I work hard," Ingram said. "Right now I'm even between the two schools. It's probably going to come down to my visits and how my parents and I feel about the schools."

Ingram will take his official visit to Miami on (12/9), Florida State (1/9), Florida (1/16) and Georgia (1/23). The 6-foot-4 and 195 pound safety also indicated that he might set up a visit to Ole Miss on (1/30).

Last Friday, Ingram helped lead his team to a semi-final victory over Deerfield Beach by racking up seven tackles and two passes broken up. He also caught the game winning touchdown.

Last year as a junior, Ingram recorded 48 tackles and nine interceptions.
