Gallimore Is Close To A Decision

Four-star offensive lineman Brett Gallimore of Riverside (MO) Park Hill South is getting close to making his college choice. The 6-foot-5 and 295 pound standout will choose between Michigan and Florida State. This week, coaches from both programs stopped by his home to make one last pitch.

"Offensive line Coach Andy Moore was at my house today," he said. "I have a great relationship with him and I trust him. He's been down here seven times since the recruiting process has started."

Michigan Head Coach Lloyd Carr was supposed to come in today also but the flu has set him back. Will that make a difference in Gallimore's final decision?

"No it won't" Gallimore said. "I've been up there for an unofficial visit and he calls me quite a bit so it's probably not going to make a difference."

Head Coach Bobby Bowden and offensive line coach Jimmy Heggins were also in town this week. How did that go?

"It went well," he said. "I got a chance to hang out with Coach Heggins. I don't know him very well and I'm trying to get to know him a little better."

What are the Seminoles chances?

"Florida State has as good of a chance as Michigan," he said. "I'm going to think about for a week or two. I'm going to go somewhere I can feel comfortable at and a place where I can get an education."
