SC Stud Favors Two

With a big visit weekend coming up for the Noles, one of nations best linebackers will be in town. Lawrence Timmons will be making his way down to Tallahassee to give the Seminoles a look first hand.

With Florida State being one of his two leaders, is there a possibility that he might commit if the visit goes well?

"You never know, it depends on how the visit goes, but you never know," Timmons, who checks in at 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds with 4.5 speed, said.

That would be great news for Noles fans to grab such a talented linebacker who had an impressive showing in the Shrine bowl just recently. The Florence (SC) standout lead the South Carolina squad with nine tackles. Some observers at the game compare his style of play to former Seminole great Tommy Polly.

Along with Florida State he also mentions Florida as his other top school. It seems like it will likely come down to those two schools for his signature in February.

But what does he like about the two rivals?

Florida State -"They don't have many linebackers, so I could go in and play and I also like the coaches they have."

Florida - "They have a young team that is on the rise, and I like the coaches down there too."
