State Battle

Kenny Ingram, a four-star prospect from Orlando Edgewater, had a great time on his Florida State visit this weekend. "Man, I would have to say my visit was ten," Kenny Ingram told TheTerritory Sunday afternoon.

"I would say the highlight of the trip was running out to the center of the field while my name was announced. They also had my number and highlights on the jumbo screen. Hearing, 'Starting for Florida State is Kenny Ingram,' got me excited," Ingram admitted.

Despite the terrific visit, Ingram asid he isn't ready to name a leader between FSU and UM.

"There's a lot that I like about both programs," he said.

"I'm going to have to go home and think about it. I probably will decide on Georgia visit (1/23)."

Ingram was hosted by his cousin Willie Jones.

"I hung out with Willie and a lot of players," he said.

"Leon Washington impressed me most. I think Florida State has a good shot with me, Aaron Jones, Jr. Bryant, Trevor Ford, Xavier Lee and Xavier Carter."

Ingram also got a chance to spend a lot of time with head coach Bobby Bowden.

"Yesterday we went over to Coach Bowden's house for dessert," Ingram said.

"This morning I met with him in his office. Florida State is recruiting me for both free safety and wide receiver."
