Last week sources close to Marcus Walker's recruitment indicated that the Oklahoma Sooners have taken the lead over the Florida State Seminoles for this highly-touted cornerback from Waco, Texas. However, with FSU linebacker coach Kevin Steele on the case, this story isn't quite over yet. Far from it. Click here as TheTerritory caught up with Walker on Sunday.

"I'm still going to take my visit to LSU on (1/16) and then decide," Marcus Walker told TheTerritory Sunday afternoon.

"Things are still even with Florida State and Oklahoma. Florida State is coming on very hard. I've always wanted to play for the Seminoles ever since I was little. It's going to be a very tough decision."

Back in November, the Waco standout took his official visit to Florida State and hit it off with his host Antonio Cromartie. The two have keep in contact ever since.

"I talked to Cro (Cromartie) the other day," he said. "He just had surgery on his knee. The doctor's scoped it."

Florida State Coach Kevin Steele will visit Walker's home next week. Oklahoma and LSU still have visits scheduled also.
