Noles Move into The Picture For WR
Kenny O'Neal left for Oregon with the Georgia Bulldogs still at the top. He loved his visit with the Ducks, but did the Dawgs remain in the lead?
WR Kenny O'Neal continued his visits with a stop in Eugene Oregon to check out the Ducks this weekend. He came home impressed, and with a bit of a shakeup in his top 3.
"The Oregon trip was really good. The facilities up there were off the chain," O'Neal said.
Ty Witherspoon hosted Kenny on his visit. What was the best part about the trip for him overall?
"The lockerroom. It's just really nice. Also, Coach Bellotti just acts like one of us. He doesn't act like an old guy."
Has this brought the Ducks up on O'Neal's list of favorites?
"Yeah, they are right under Georgia now. Georgia is still out in front."
Since the last time we spoke, Kenny has dropped USC from his top 3, and now has a brand new third school on his list.
"I got FSU below Oregon in 3rd. They called my coach because they had just gotten my film and they liked it a lot. I like FSU because of the tradition and all. I scheduled a visit with them for the 31st."
Oregon took a mighty step toward stealing Kenny away from the Dawgs, and Seminoles will try to do the same thing when he visits Tallahassee at the end of this month. For now however, Kenny is still a heavy lean to Georgia.
"I have always wanted to play in my home state (Kenny is originally from GA) and wear that #4 jersey like they promised me. No one else has offered me that."
Kenny is currently ranked #1 in the world amongst sprinters under the age of 18 in the 100m. He is also one heck of a receiver, and will add to both the football and track programs of whatever school he decides to sign with.
