'Noles Still Lead

Late last week the Florida State Seminoles received a commitment from offensive lineman Jacky Claude of Miami. Well, one of the state's top offensive guard prospects was in Tallahassee this weekend for an official visit. Click here to see what Dumaka Atkins thought of the Seminoles.

Dumaka Atkins told TheTerritory Sunday that his visit went well. Have it an 8.5 to 9 out of 10.

"The visit was good, real good," said Atkins, a 6-foot-4, 270-pounder.

"I liked everything about it. Especially when they put me on the jumbotron, and said my name with the starting lineup. Then we got to run onto the field, that was real cool"

Atkins' host on the trip was Clifton Dickson the first night and Ron "Lucky" Lunford the second night.

Dumaka had a great time with both, and he also he enjoyed his time with the other recruits in town this weekend.

So who leads at this moment for this fine OL's services?

"Florida State is in the lead now, I had a real good time up there this weekend, so they are in the lead right now," Atkins said.

However he is still planning on visiting Ann Arbor next weekend to see what Michigan has to offer. He will then decide between those two schools shortly after the Michigan trip.

Both schools are recruiting Atkins as an guard.
