Noles Are Making Their Move On WR

Last week four-star wide receiver Kenny O'Neal of Oakland (CA) Skyline made an official visit to Florida. This upcoming weekend he'll make his last official visit to Florida State. Despite having a very good visit to Gainesville, The Insiders.com No. 6 ranked player at his position has narrowed his two favorites down to Florida State and Georgia.

"My two favorite teams now are Florida State and Georgia," O'Neal, who has a reported 100 meter time of 10.3 seconds, said.

"Florida State was in my house tonight," he said. "Jeff Bowden, the wide receiver coach, impressed me with everything he knew. He promised me the number four jersey and he's saving me a scholarship."

O'Neal, who has spent most of his life in Georgia, has spent his senior year with his mother in Oakland. With ties to the Peachtree State, what does he like about the Dawgs?

"I like the coaches," he said. "The Head Coach Mark Richt is real cool. I know a lot of players there also."

A couple of factors with the standout wide receiver will be depth at the receiver position and the quarterbacks that are brought in at each school.

"Georgia has a lot of commitments at wide receiver and that's going to be a big role," the 6-foot-1 and 195 pound standout said. "I'm really don't like that. Florida State has like one or two wide receiver commitments. Also Georgia has some good quarterbacks coming in and Florida State is bringing in two also. It looks like they're getting a five-star one."

Georgia Head Coach Richt will pay him an-home visit next Thursday evening while Florida State's Bobby Bowden will be in his home the following week.

O'Neal told The Territory.org that he will most likely make his decision after his Florida State visit.

As a senior, he caught 35 passes for 850 yards and 24 touchdowns.

O'Neal is on track to qualify academically with a 2.5 grade point average and a score of 940 on the SAT Test.

When asked by The Territory who his favorite team was growing up Kenny replied, "FSU; Baby. Seminoles."
