Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln standout Rodney Gallon just returned home from
official visit to Florida State. The 6-foot-0 and 205 pound weak-side linebacker
filled the Territory.org on how it went.
"The visit went well," Gallon said. "I would rate it a nine everything was about what I expected. I've been living here my whole life and nothing was really new."
This weekend Gallon hung out with two of his teammates this weekend in Calvin Darity and Joe Manning. His host was former Lincoln All-American Antonio Cromartie.
"I also hung out with Decody Fagg and Pat Watkins," he said.
Gallon is down to three schools. Does any school have an edge in landing his services?
"It's going to come down to Auburn, Tennessee and Florida State," he said. "All three teams are medium. It's going to down to academics and who will give me the best opportunity."
As a senior, he recorded 131 tackles and 4 sacks.
Gallon is on track to qualify academically with a 3.3 grade point average.
"I'm going to make an announcement on Monday at 5:00 PM on TV," he said.
