DL Dunbar Talks about visit

Three-star defensive tackle/defensive end Emmanuel Dunbar of Deerfield Beach (Fla.) took his official visit to Florida State this weekend. How did things go for the 6-foot-5 and 265 pound standout?

"It went well," he said. "I would rate my trip an eight because of the academics and it's close to home. The coaches are straight and it's a very well rounded program."

Emmanuel Dunbar told The Territory that he is very close to making a decision.

"I'll probably make my decision tomorrow or the next day," he said. "North Carolina State, Oklahoma and Florida State are all even. I'll talk with coaches before and then go from there."

The South Florida Standout was hosted by wide receiver Decody Fagg and hung out with more players.

"Hanging out with the players was a lot of fun," he said. "There were some recruits there on the visit that I played with at the California/Florida all-star game. They said that they were going to Florida State. It would be fun to play with them in college."

A as senior, he was selected to the first-team all-state team in class 6A competition by recording 112 tackles and 17 sacks.

Dunbar has a little work to do before qualifying academically.
