Lincoln Standout Commits to FSU

Yesterday, Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln standout Rodney Gallon just returned home from an official visit to Florida State. Tonight he committed to the hometown Seminoles on local Tallahassee television. <br><br>

The 6-foot-0 and 205 pound linebacker selected the Noles over Auburn and Tennessee.

"It's going to down to academics and who will give me the best opportunity," Gallon told The Territory.Org yesterday.

As a senior, he recorded 131 tackles and 4 sacks.

Gallon is on track to qualify academically with a 3.3 grade point average.

With the commitment of Gallon, the Noles are now have 23 verbal commitments.
