Junior watch: Simon Codrington

One junior to look out for is offensive tackle Simon Codrington of South Miami Sr. High. He is a 6-foot-6, 260-pound offensive lineman that is rising up the recruiting charts in a hurry. Not only is Codrington a good football player he also is one of the Cobras best basketball players as well. He is one of the better athletes that play offensive tackle in South Florida.

When it comes to one of his favorite teams growing up many in Florida would be surprised by the answer. "I liked Kentucky growing up, I lived in Kentucky and they were one of the teams that I watched. As for the teams in Florida, FSU was one that I always followed. Miami and Michigan are two other schools that I also have a lot of interest in."

We asked Codrington what player in college or pro football had the most influence on him. "I would have to say Orlando Pace, he dominates the line of scrimmage and is one of the best offensive tackles in pro football. I watched him at Ohio State as well. He is my favorite player."

Therefore, what would Simon Codrington have to say his strength is? "My speed and quickness for someone my size. I believe that playing basketball helps me out with my footwork."

Camps: Will attend Miami Camp.
