What will impact Chancellor's decision?

When it comes to cornerbacks, one that is looking to be among the best in Florida this year is Chris Chancellor of Miami (Fla.) Edison. The South Florida standout measured in at the Miami Nike Camp at 5-foot-11and 160 pounds. He also runs the 40-yard dash in under 4.5 seconds.

This past season Chris Chancellor recorded over 30 tackles, had five interceptions and 22 pass break ups. Not only is he a star on the Edison football team, Chancellor is looking to make an impact on the track team this year. He runs the 100m, 200m, is part of the 4x100 relay team and will also participate in the long jump as well.

Growing up there was one team that was always at the top of Chancellor List.

"I grew up a big time fan of Florida State," he said. " Deon Sanders was my favorite player and that is who I pattern my game after."

Even though the Seminoles are the early leader at this time Chancellor also likes a few other teams as well.

"I also like Miami, North Carolina State, Ohio State, North Carolina and Florida," he said.

Right now the canes are co leaders with the Florida State Seminoles. What attracts Chancellor to Miami?

"They put players in the NFL, that's important to me," he said.

With FSU being one of Chancellor leaders we asked him what he thought about two of South Florida best cornerbacks (J.R. Bryant and Trevor Ford) choosing FSU this past signing day.

"Those two will proudly represent Miami," he said.

Will it impact Chancellor's decision on going to FSU that they signed two of the best cornerbacks in the country this past year?

"No, I feel I can compete and play with the best and those signing there will not have an impact on where I choose to play college ball,' he said.

Camps: He went to the LSU camp last year and most likely will go there again this year. He will also camp at FSU and Miami this year.
