The Florida State baseball Seminoles are off to Minnesota this weekend, where they will play in the Dairy Queen Classic in the Metrodome. The Seminoles, who fell out of Baseball America's Top 25, are coming off a home series win over the University of North Carolina-Asheville.

Florida State (9-4) remained No. 22 in the Baseball Weekly/ESPN Coaches poll after after taking two of three games last weekend against UNC Asheville.

The Seminoles allowed just three runs (two earned) in the series as they improved to 9-4 on the season.

FSU will take on No. 14 Nebraska in the first game of the Dairy Queen Classic Friday at 1:15 p.m. EST in Minneapolis.

The Seminoles last played in the Metrodome in 1999, going 2-1 with wins over Minnesota and Washington State and a loss to Wichita State.

FSU faces West Virginia on Saturday (1:05 p.m.) and Minnesota (4:05) on Sunday.

All-American shortstop Stephen Drew leads the team with a .386 batting average and boasts a team-high .557 on-base percentage. Drew also leads the team with 15 runs scored and five stolen bases.

Nebraska (5-1), West Virginia (1-4), Minnesota (1-3)

The Cornhuskers are 5-1 on the year with their only loss coming to defending national champion Rice by a score of 4-2. West Virginia opened with a 7-4 win over Old Dominion, but has last four straight to drop to 1-4. The Golden Gophers of Minnesota are 1-3 on the year, but all three losses have come to ranked opponents (Miami, Notre Dame and Florida Atlantic). Minnesota has a mid-week game vs. Minnesota State before this weekend's action.

FSU Against Dairy Queen Classic Field

The Seminoles lead the all-time series with both Minnesota (14-0) and West Virginia (3-2), but Friday's game will mark the first meeting with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. FSU last played Minnesota in 1999 and West Virginia in 1962.
