Noles Offer Oklahoma OL

One of the top offensive linemen in the Big 12 region has the Noles attention so much that they offered him a scholarship. In addition to the Florida State offer, the 6-foot-3 and 295 pound guard has 12 other offers to justify his hype. Click here to read all about it.

"I have 13 offers now," Craig Roark of Ada (OK) said. "Florida State offered me last Wednesday. Coach Bobby Bowden called my coach and said the offer was on the way in the mail. I called Coach Haggins and he told me that he liked the way I used my leverage and how I finish my blocks."

Roark told The that Oklahoma was his favorite team growing up but that an offer from his childhood favorite might not happen.

"I'm a guard and Oklahoma is real strong inside," he said. "They told me if they take a guard that I'm the No.1 guy. I don't they have decided to go after a guard yet."

At this time Nebraska is at the top of his list.

"Nebraska sends me two to three hand-written letters a week," he said. "Last week they sent me 15 hand-written letters. When I visited them for their spring game, they really rolled out the red carpet and made me feel right at home."

In addition to Big-Red, Roark has interest in several other programs including, LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida and Florida State.

"I haven't narrowed down my list yet," he said. "I'm going to visit a lot schools over the summer. We're going to visit USC, UCLA and Stanford on the West Coast. We're also going to visit to Florida schools, Ohio State, Michigan and LSU."

What one word describes Roark?

"Intensity," he said. "I don't stop until the whistle stops. I like throwing people down."

Roark is an excellent student who is on track to qualify academically.
