Did Noles Offer Wisconsin ATH?

It seems like this year the Noles are looking for athletes that can play multiple positions. Yesterday, Coach Jody Allen flew up to Wisconsin to check out a player that can play defensive end, linebacker or tight end. Did the Seminole assistant coach like what he saw?

Yesterday, Coach Jody Allen was in Oak Creek (WI) to check out 6-foot-5 and 215 pound athlete Travis Beckum.

"Florida State Coach (Jody) Allen was at the school yesterday and he offered Travis," Oak Creek Head Coach Joe Koch said. "He sat down and talk with me for about three hours and we also watched some film. Coach Allen told me that Travis the perfect size for the player that they like coming in to their school."

According to Coach Koch, the Noles were also looking at defensive end Raymond Henderson.

"They like both," Koch said. "However Coach Bowden is only wants one from the state and they feel Travis is a little better fit."

In addition to the Noles, several other teams will be rolling into Oak Creek soon.

"Michigan is coming in today," he said. "Minnesota is coming in tomorrow and Notre Dame and Miami is coming in Monday.

Where position will Beckum end up at the next level?

"I think Florida State likes him playing with his hands down and Miami likes him at tight end."

According to Coach Koch, his star athlete is open to a lot teams but it looks likes Miami, Wisconsin, and Florida State are at the top of the list.
