Bama DB Ready For The Move To Tally

Dee McClure, a safety prospect from Adamsville (AL) Minor, originally committed to Auburn but when his childhood favorite came calling, he quickly reconsidered. "It's been a life-long dream to play for Florida State," he said.

McClure, a 5-foot-10 and 185 pound safety with 4.5 40-yard dash speed, is ready to get his Seminole career underway.

"Florida State has the respect as a school and I'm ready to show the country what I have," he said. "I'm going to report on June 20th. I've been lifting weights and following the summer workout program that was sent to me."

McClure has been told by the Seminole staff that he'll play both safety positions starting out.

Before the Alabama native can get his career started, he needs to retake the ACT Test. His first attempt followed by his second try was too high and he'll most likely have his score flagged.

"I'm taking the ACT again this Wednesday," he said. "I've been studying for it and I'm getting some tutoring at school. I'm having a good semester also with all B's in the classroom."

He was also offered a scholarship by Central Florida, Auburn and Mississippi State.
