Noles Offer Georgia DT

One of the top defensive tackles in the Southeast is racking up scholarship offers from programs across the country, including Florida and Florida State. Where do the Noles stand with the Georgia standout?

"Florida State is in my top two," Brandon Perry, a 6-foot-3 and 270 pound defensive tackle from in Hawkinsville (GA), said. "They have a great coach and they send a lot of players to the NFL. Georgia is up there also. My first cousin Charles Johnson signed with them last year. I like Tennessee a lot also."

In addition to Florida State, Perry also has offers from Duke, Southern Cal, Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama, Nebraska, Ole miss, Florida and East Carolina.

He was voted Captain by his teammates as a freshman, and he was named All-State as a sophomore. Perry finished last season with 94 tackles and 12 sacks.

What does Perry think separates him from the pack?

"I'm a Warren Sapp type player with a killer instinct," he said.

What is his future plans recruiting wise?

"I don't know what camps I'll attend yet," he said. "I ‘m definitely going to a Georgia game and I'll probably see Florida State also.

The Georgia standout told The that he will take his visits and make a decision sometime after his season is over.
