Noles Lead For Georgia OL

This year the state of Georgia is loaded with talented offensive lineman. It looks like the Seminoles coaching staff is all over it. Read about a player that the Noles just offered.

Sergio Render is a 6'3 300 lb Offensive Lineman from Newnan High School. Render is a powerful young man sporting these physical stats.......400 lb Bench, 500 lb Squat, 300 lb Power Clean, 5.2 40 and a 5.03 Shuttle time.

With that size and strength Render has picked up two early offers within the past week from Florida State and Virginia Tech. "Florida State never even sent me any letters" says Render. "They came by the school, asked Coach to watch some film... they watched it and then told Coach they were offering".

Render says "I am receiving mail from all over, but Clemson, Wisconsin and Arkansas are recruiting me the hardest".

"I am attending Alabama Camp June 19th and then FSU Camp after that. I have been invited to alot more camps, but those will be the only ones I attend this summer".

When I asked Sergio about what he is looking for in a school, he said... "a good staff, depth chart and just a good school". Render also said he would like to stay as close to home as possible.

"My top five right now are Florida State, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Alabama and Clemson."

When asked what stands out about his top five schools, Render said this...

FSU - Atmosphere and Fans (Render attended the MIA @ FSU game last year) Arkansas - Best Friend Earnest Mitchell will be attending there Viginia Tech - One of the first schools to offer Clemson and Alabama - Just that they are recruiting him hard.

Render says, "I am looking to make my decision between the beginning and the middle of the season. I would like to take some visits".

His very first year of playing football was just three years ago. He played DE on Junior Varsity, and then moved to Offensive Guard for the first time last year.

Render projects as a full academic qualifier. He has all the core requirements lined up and has already scored a 21 on the ACT.
