FSU Loses, Wichita State battling

<p>UCF didn't back down after falling behind early against FSU for the second time in a row. The Knights rallied to knock off the Seminoles 7-5 in the day's first game.<p>

The teams will meet again at approx. 6:00 p.m. The game can be seen on Sunshine in most of North Florida.

After a 50 minute rain delay, Dee Brown hit a solo homer to left and Clay Timpner's pair of RBI doubles propelled UCF to the win.

Brian Brooks pitced 5.1 innings of relief to pick up the win. Matt DiBlasi, yesterday's bullpen hero was saddled with the loss.

Stephen Drew and Ryne Malone homered for the Noles.

The team's recieved a bit of bad news just after FSU took a 2-0 lead in the first. Wichita State was leading Arkansas 9-6 when the teams took the field for the second game but the host hogs rallied for five runs in the ninth to turn a 9-6 deficit into an 11-9 win.

The teams play again at 7 p.m. Arkansas will host Super Regional action regardless should it advance. Should WSU upset, it would come down to bids. It has been confirmed that FSU and WSU have entered bid though no details have been released.

UCF staff did not know of thier status.
