Virginia Standout collecting offers…

When it comes to top rated defensive ends in the nation this year names like Alfred Jones, Ricky Jean Francois and Avrill Spicer are just a few who are mentioned the most. One player that would like to change that is Roanoke Virginia Defensive End/Linebacker Darryl Gresham would like to change.

Darryl Gresham is a 6-foot-3, 235-pound standout for his high school. All Gresham did last year was rack up 178 tackles, 6 quarterback sacks and forced fumbles. Even with those impressive numbers Gresham thinks he can even do better this year. "I had a good season in 2003 but I expect to have even better numbers this year," Gresham said.

When it comes to offers Gresham seems to be collecting them every day that goes by. He has received offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Florida, Maryland, Tennessee, North Carolina and West Virginia.

So does Gresham have a leader with all of those offers, "No, not at this time, I am wide open and won't be ready to make a decision until I take all of my visits," Gresham said. Right now Gresham is wide open and does not have a favorite team.

Camps- Gresham has only planned one camp at this time and that is to Florida State. He will attend the first session which will begin of July 7th.

At this time Gresham has been recruited by John Lilly of FSU. When he spoke to coach Lilly Gresham told the that even though he has played linebacker in high school its defensive end where his mark could be made. "Coach Lilly told me that I have a defensive end body the ability to also line up at linebacker in college."
