Five-Star LB Camps and Talks FSU

The No. 2 rated linebacker in the country spent the last few days in Tallahassee attending the Florida State football camp. How well did it go for the 6-foot-0 and 192 pound five-star prospect from Lagrange (GA)?

"I would rate my camp experience as a ten," Tray Blackmon said. "I've already visited Auburn and Georgia and this has been by far the most impressive place I've seen yet."

What exactly did he like about the Seminoles?

"The stadium is amazing," he said. "It seats 80,000 people. The facilities are great. I learned a lot at the camp. Coach Steele really pushed me and wouldn't allow me to slow down."

Blackmon got to hang out with several Nole football players at the camp.

"I hung out with Jae Thaxton," he said. "I played against his team in the playoffs. I also got to meet Ernie Sims and Leon Washington."

It appears that the Noles has made up grown on the Dawgs and Tigers for the All-American defensive standout.

"Florida State is in my top three for sure," he said. "I can't really say who leads until I take my official visits. I want to come down and see Florida State play Clemson in September."

Blackmon will also attend games at both Auburn and Georgia. He would like to decide his school of choice in the fall.
